Reynolds Host Successful Scientific Discipline Nighttime

Reynolds latterly hosted its 14^th Annual Science Night on the college’s Parham Road Campus. This year’s lawsuit was titled “An Interactive Evening alongside Scientists”. Exhibitors participated from organizations exterior the college including:  Henricopolis Soil together with Water Division, Science Museum of Virginia, Virginia Department of Transportation, Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens, Community Idea Stations – Science Matters, MathScience Innovation Center, Virginia Herpetological Society, Mattaponi Pamunkey Rivers Association,  Virginia Cooperative Extension Office, King together with the Queen Courthouse Tavern Museum.

“The lawsuit is ever exciting for our students,” said Assistant Professor of Biology Karen Neal. “And nosotros are rattling thankful for all the exterior organizations that participated. While at Science Night, the exterior organizations were able to part alongside our students what they are doing inward the community together with every bit good gives them fourth dimension to recruit our students to volunteer or function for them.”

With over 300 people inward attendance, at that spot were 8 exhibits past times Reynolds faculty, staff together with educatee organizations including the Reynolds Honors Program, the Science Club together with the Robotics Club. During the event, Reynolds President medico Gary Rhodes was presented alongside a gift from the Math, Science together with Engineering Department inward appreciation for his continued back upwardly of Science Night. Rhodes had this to state close the lawsuit on Facebook: It was a most fun together with informative evening!
